800 Smithfield Blvd Memories…

Welcome! Our unique home was previously owned by two sisters, each of whom made half of this house their own. Keeping this in mind, the layout is one that will only impress. We purchased this home while stationed in Washington State. After placing a contract on the home, we soon discovered that long-lost friends from our time stationed Florida lived only a few houses down! Seeing the home in person for the first time after weeks of driving across the country, we were thrilled to arrive and make the place our own. The kids all ran to claim rooms and spaces on “their half” of the house, and we quickly became comfortable with the layout.

Popcorn & movies, game nights, dance parties, cousin sleepovers, and hide-n-seek all contributed to making joyful memories here. The FROG was used for guests, giving them privacy and a retreat when needed, and it was always fun to dream about the potential of more square footage in the attic. It is HUGE!

One of our favorite spaces in our home is the screened in back porch where would often sip on coffee and eat our meals. Many great conversations took place there among our family, neighbors, & friends. The office space hosted many young readers that were tutored with patience and care.

As for the memories outside the home, we hope we don’t leave too much evidence of the many s’mores we snacked on after dark! We’ve even camped in the backyard and occasionally the tree house on cooler nights. Watching the kids catch fireflies in the yard was priceless. Our evening walks and bike rides around “the loop” along with neighbors we’d only previously dreamed of, make this a home that will be difficult to let go but know it will be the right fit for its next homeowners and the beginning of many new memories.
