A converted garage served as our “playroom” but could function as an office or “man-cave.” Built-in shelves in the upstairs living room and wood-burning fireplace downstairs. Washer and dryer in basement (will stay in the house) along with a workbench and shelving for garage-type storage and workspace. The “crawlspace” is available for attic-type storage. No smoking. A dog is negotiable on a case-by-case basis. Grocery stores and pharmacies are about a mile away and the public library is even closer. Less than a 30-min drive to downtown D.C. before 0630. The Metrobus bus-stop for direct Pentagon access is six houses down. 3.5 miles to the VRE Park & Ride. Tenant will need to cover electricity, water, gas, tv/internet, and lawn care. Our two favorite things about this house are the layout and the location. The house is tucked into the back end of the neighborhood yet is only three miles to 495. Current tenants love the neighborhood and bought their own home nearby, hence the availability.
