With 76,000 acres of land, including a modern 28,000 acre, live-fire range complex, it is one of the largest East Coast military installations which allows units to engage in training ranging from small unit operations to major maneuvers with combined arms and live-fire exercises. The facility lies between Richmond, VA and Washington, D.C.
