This is a relatively new house tucked away in a very quiet safe newly developed neighborhood. The school district is Midway which is considered the best in central Texas. The bus stops right in front of house so safe for kids coming and going.
We know how important it is to raise a family in a good neighborhood while our loved ones are serving our country. This gives them peace of mind that their family is not only safe but thriving in a good educational system all awhile affordable here in central Texas not far from your military base.
Woodway police force is very active in keeping our community safe and you will find that this is a very friendly community that wants to support neighbors if any needs arise or just lend a helping hand.
The drive might be a little challenging but well worth it to be in an environment that is supportive of our military and at the same time affordable.
Our home is approximately 1800 sq ft with two car garage. We have a beautiful fenced in backyard surrounded by tall trees. We have a sprinkler system and yard maintenance is included in the rent. The house is modern wooden floor on lower level and upgraded appliances. It is a two story house so renters would need to be fine with stairs.
In the surrounding area we have a large lake for boating and fishing. We also have wonderful parks and hiking trails. The church in our neighborhood has opened up a great playground to us that is a 2-3 minute walk. Great fun for kids of that age and very convenient to walk to. We have a big HEB grocery store 5 minutes drive as well as restaurants etc. Waco is a growing town but has developed good highway systems that allows you to get to most places within 15 minutes or so.

I am aware of the driving distance for the military member but as I continue to hear about all the problems surrounding Killeen and the base I really wanted to open up this home for military families to have another option that I believe is in the best interest of thriving as a family and not just surviving.
