?Hello! My name is Mary “Carol” Graham. I am a former “military brat”. My father was in the Air Force. I have lived over 50 years in San Antonio. Also, I have rented a room in my house for over 20 years. My current renter has been here for 3 years. He is being transferred to another assignment.

I live in an incorporated city called Terrell Hills (TH). TH is a suburb with many former military families. I have been told that in the 1960s, my street was full of high ranking military officers. The neighborhood is changing now with many homes being torn down for the trendy white/black farmhouse homes.

The best thing about TH is that it is quiet, quiet, quiet. TH is considered one of the safest neighborhoods as it has its own police and fire departments. My street at 109 Seford is across the street from Ft. Sam Houston cemetery on Harry Wurzbach. The gate to Ft. Sam is about a mile from my house.
The room was my former one car garage and is approximately 17X11. The room has a large window at the end facing the street. The room contains a full size bed, desk, chair, light, microwave, a refrigerator with a freezer compartment. If you drink coffee, a coffee maker will be provided. Leading out of the room, is a small closet for storage. If more storage is needed, then space will be provided. The next space is a private bathroom with sink/toilet on one side and a shower on the other side. Leading out of the room is a space for the shared washer and dryer. You leave out a private entrance to the front yard. Unfortunately, the parking is on the street.

So basically, the rent room is at one end of the house. I am usually at the other end of the house.
The kitchen is in the middle. I am retired from the university where i worked, but still work a flexible job for about 20-30 hours a week and keep a busy schedule. Usually the renter person has a busy schedule so each of us will be respectful of each other's privacy.

The rent is monthly @ $600 per month. Rent is due at the first of the month. There will be a 10-day grace period to pay rent. The rent includes water, electricity, WIFI, and garbage collection. A deposit of $150 is required. At a later time, a lease agreement will be sent for review. Also, photos can be sent for review.
