Homes - Scott AFB

Located in southern Illinois in the greater St. Louis area, Scott AFB is home to the 18th Air Force (AF), the operational component of Air Mobility Command (AMC). It is AMC's only Numbered Air Force (NAF) and the Air Force's largest NAF. 18th AF executes air mobility missions worldwide. Active-duty units reporting to the 18 AF include units in MD, SC, DE, TX, FL, Southwest Asia, and more. Scott Air Force Base is also home to AMC’s "Showcase Wing,” the 375th Air Mobility Wing. The wing's operational mission is to provide air mobility operations through its fleet of C-21 aircraft and its partnerships with the Guard and Reserve in flying KC-135 and C-40 aircraft.
