This beautiful, spacious home is located in Halawa Heights, in Aiea, HI, and will be available for move-in on Friday, 01 November, 2024. I will begin holding viewings upon request in 30-minute time-slots. Please message me to schedule a morning or afternoon showing.
I am looking for renters wanting to sign a 1-year lease. Please be advised, that my plan is to sell the house by the end of next year, but I would not and will not list the house without providing plenty of notice to renters, and I will not break the terms of our lease. My goal is to sell by December 2025.
The house is directly across the street from the Camp H.M. Smith Marine Corps Base, and the house is close (approximately 1 mile) to the H1 Interchange where you can also easily access the H201 (Moanalua Freeway) and the H3. "The Bus" also travels Halawa Heights Rd., so you would have easy access to public transportation, with a bus stop close by, right up the street, about 60 yards from the house!
If you're stationed at Camp H.M. Smith, you could literally walk across the street to work. The following commands (amongst others) are located at Camp H.M. Smith: U.S. Indo-Pacific Command (USINDOPACOM), U.S. Marine Forces, Pacific (MARFORPAC), U.S. Special Operations Command, Pacific (SOCPAC), Joint Interagency Task Force West (JIATF West), Cruise Missile Support Activity, Pacific (CMSA PAC) and others. The house is also in close proximity to Ft. Shafter Army Base, to Joint Base Pearl Harbor-Hickam, and to Tripler Army Medical Center. Even if you're stationed at Schofield Army Barracks or Kaneohe Marine Corps Base, the house is located close to the main highways, enabling a pretty easy transit regardless.
The home is unfurnished, and is very spacious (2,036sqft), so you will have plenty of room...and lots of internal storage in the house. There is also a good-sized additional storage space in the garage.
As for parking, it IS limited in the neighborhood, but there is a 2-car garage. There is a shared driveway, so I would introduce you to your new neighbors if you sign a lease.

The rent will be $4,600, and the renter would be responsible for paying utilities.
Required up-front, upon lease-signing will be the Security Deposit of $4,600, and the first month's rent of $4,600 or pro-rated rent, dependent on move-in date.
