Our beautiful, spotless, modern 2BR/2BA condominium has a balcony with a view of a Potomac River tributary just across the street. The unit is situated on the quiet east end of the famous DC Wharf less than 4 blocks away from Fort McNair. WOULD CONSIDER RENTING 1BR FOR $1,800 per month. Our condo had been previously rented to two gentlemen in the military via this website.
The unit is equipped with high-grade flooring, cabinets and appliances including a dishwasher, washer-dryer and a ceiling fan in each room. The closets either have double clothes rods and/or have multiple shelves for added clothes or storage.
The unit would be available semi-furnished at the request of the tenant. Items that could be included: night stands, 50" flat screen TV, living room couch, several chairs and lamps. All utilities would be included in the rent including water, electric, gas, and basic Wifi. An enhanced Wifi package is recommended and could be purchased starting at $60 per month directly from Starry internet and/or cable TV services from Xfinity.
The building is also filled with amenities including an equipped work-out room, a concierge for receiving packages and for security, a guest lounge, an internal courtyard and a grilling area with seating. Basic internet is available in the building's common areas and garage.
Monthly or multiple week parking may be available in the garage for an additional cost.
The DC Wharf offers a wide variety of restaurants, coffee shops, outdoor sitting and sightseeing areas, music venues, and a water taxis to Old Town, Georgetown, the casino and shops at National Harbor. A Safeway grocery store, CVS drug store and a metro stop on the Green line are just two blocks away. A free DC Wharf shuttle bus can take you over to L'Enfant Plaza to other subway lines and bus routes.
A Metro stop which can take you to Dulles or National airport is 2 blocks away. Reagan National airport is a 10 minute ride by car.
The standard term of the lease would be 12 months subject to negotiation if needed for a slightly shorter duration (by a few months) subject to building rules and regulations.
We have rented to military personnel multiple times in the past at below market rates compared to other units in the building ($4K+ per month) with great mutual success and satisfaction.
It is a great place to bring your family to experience history, to walk to the museums (like the Air and Space or History or Spy Museum) and to national parks or just to hang out on the river.
Unit owners and the building do NOT permit short term stays (via vendors such as VBRO or AirBnB) or subleasing of any kind by tenants/renters.
This unit is located in a quiet, friendly building in a great location with lots to do. It is THE place to be on the water in DC!
